Arcatapet.net travels - January-February, 2018

We made our almost annual journey down to Quartzsite, with a number of followon stops.

I took the smallest group yet up to the top of Q hill, but we enjoyed the view. We were parked next to the same M450 that we parked next to up at Glacier, and you can see the front view in that trip report.

After Quartzsite we spent some time again at the West World horse park in Scottsdale. Our visit with Pat and Don looks very similar to the one in last year's photo. We were there during the Super Blue Blood Moon eclipse, so I used the tracking mount I got for the solar eclipse to photograph it. The "normal" full moon was the day before, and was a test. The Phoenix Open was on during our visit, and the golf course was about a mile away. Of course the Goodyear blimp was overhead.

As we started home we spent a couple of nights in Gila Bend, and visited Ajo for the first time. This is a panorama of the Ajo Coppermine (closed).
